    QuickBooks is ideal for many bookkeeping tasks.  I can set up a brand-new QuickBooks account or update an existing one.  I can set your preferences to customize the QuickBooks experience to meet your business needs.  Cleaning up an existing QuickBooks account requires a trained professional, to ensure that assets, liabilities and equity are accurate and current.  This process makes for error-free financial reporting and integrates seamlessly with preparing your books for tax preparation.

  • Ongoing Bookkeeping:

    Rushing to find receipts or handing a stack of bank statements to your tax accountant at year-end can be frustrating for everyone.  Keeping your books current all throughout the year is my specialty!  Ongoing bookkeeping includes:  categorizing transactions, reconciling bank accounts, adding/deleting assets as needed, and tracking liability accounts so that you always know what you own, what you owe, and what value you have in the company as the business owner.

  • Payroll processing and setup:

    I am certified in QuickBooks Payroll and can help manage your payroll processing, setup and teach you how to efficiently run your payroll.

  • Business setup: 

    I have experience in setting up new business accounts for the IRS, State of Maryland and Maryland’s Department of Labor to get your business running smoothly.  I also have extensive experience with sales tax and Maryland’s new tax website:  Maryland Tax Connect.

  • Notary services: 

    I am a Notary Public, authorized by the state of Maryland to witness the signing of or to authenticate your legal documents.

  • Tax preparation: 

    With an eye for accuracy and personalized service, I can prepare your individual and business tax returns.
